Messed up the day before (with Gav + Rich) and didn't stick my leg out for a rest at the roof but tried to climb direct instead but too pumped after negotiating the damp crux and had a rest so stupid as i should have got it. So pleased to go back the next day (bit wetter but armed with a t-towel) and do it clean, such a great route. Also 2nded as Jack led after. Rained shortly after doing the traverse out so unfortunately didn't manage anything else that day but still felt sweat with this in the bag.

Brilliant pitch, made even better by finishing up Shark as a second pitch

Grease fest. Got on it too early in the day.

It's soooooooooooooooo goood!!!!!! Brilliant brilliant brilliant route. Better than Destiny, Venus Flytrap, maybe even better than Quatermass? Tim led this as I was feeling pretty knackered after 10 days of climbing without a rest day, felt slightly gutted once we abbed down and I actually saw the route. Anyway, Tim did a brilliant lead and somehow didn't fall off the crux even though his whole body was shaking like a leaf in the wind. I had one of those 'flow' moments and pretty much walked up the route seconding him. Totally amazing, it was hard but it felt like I was watching somebody else climb it for me. The crux section is really sustained and goes on longer than seems fair really! A good candidate for a 'thank god' jug awaits. Will come back and lead this even if I have to swim from Ilfracombe.

BOOM!!! Possibly the route of the trip? So good it throws the kitchen sink at you, found a cheeky little mono on the left wall at the crux which helps lots. The only bummer was we tried to abb from where it shows on the photo topo and ended up in the middle of nowhere abbing from a really suspect flake, very dangerous! So ignore the photo and abb from the mega obvious spike just round the arete from the half way ledge of the slab, cheers Satchi for getting our sling back.

One of the best routes I've done anywhere - great technical sequence in an amazing position! Accessed the bottom by a 90m ab from around the topout of The Devil's Slide. Finished up Shark.

Awesome. Looks outrageous for E2, but it's all there.

Unbelievable route, sustained with fantastic gear! Slipped off the crux due to a greasy hold, again! gutted!

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god such a good climb, the best I've done perhaps. If I could climb E2 I would be leading all over this. 4 stars, 5 stars, more staaaars.....

Great lead Alex! An unbelievably good route, absolute classic!

Like a design argument for a god of climbing! The initial slab and traverse is glorious! Then some hard steep moves up to and into the corner.I almost slumped before rallying for one last push. brilliant! (Had a a cheeky peeky as we abseiled past but claiming onsight mwahaha)

Easier than expected from guide text. A 100m abseil from the bollard at the top of devils slide/Albion will see you to the bottom of the route.

A very very good route. SUperb climbing up the cracks to the traverse. The moves approaching the crux move into the grooves are hard 5b/5c and the crux felt fairly hard. Lovely big camalots in the crack to the left. Was very happy to grab the spike/ jug after the crux. Sublime climbing and possibly the best thing I've ever lead. Complete aceness and worth all three of the stars. Completely awesome, do it! Sustained and brilliant and hard e2
