Solo. Thin slab with a mono without recourse to holds on neighbouring routes. Requires the steeliest of nerves and the best in stickability. Much harder for vertically challenged, i.e. sub 6 foot one-ers!

The start was near impossible with all the polish. Some incredible moves further up though: double side pull to two finger crip, cross over with other hand, high heel hook and cut loose to pull up and mantle - incredible! Felt like such a boss!

Didn't finish it but really enjoyed working it. Would like to go back and try again with Mr Neads.

A great test of nerve and faith in friction.

Top roped this countless times, still to much of a puff to lead it!

Got on it when this and 5b groove were the only dry routes in the gorge.

3rd or 4th ascent. Single, tiny pad (you wouldn't even call it a sit start pad nowadays!)
