Description for pitch 4 is still a bit vague, as there is a much better flake belay about 6m below the start of the final corner line. The 3 main pitches are excellent. Pitch 2 feels more like 5b, specially if you step onto the arete as soon as it starts.

Good route. Great evening - climbed almost entirely in the sun! Poor description in book for p3, and especially p5. No idea where the start of p5 is meant to go, but all variations lead to the crux groove anyway.

Mike's suggestion after giving up on A New Austerlitz as it looked dirty and structurally unstable (actually turned out that it had been done at least twice recently!). I led P1 - really nice climbing on great rock, quite hard for 5a. Mike did P2 - tricky in places and bold on the crux as the gear isn't very inspiring, followed by climbing in a great position on the unusual quartz. I jungle bashed the easy P3 and ended up setting up a belay a few metres above the official stance. Couldn't figure out exactly where the pitch went, so I think I made up a line from the belay to the crux. Balancy climbing up and left from the belay on 'good enough' holds and no gear - E2 5a going on E3 5b - followed by a small overlap where I dug out a couple of micro placements with a nut key. The crux looked deceptively easy. Climbed up a few easier moves and spent a while looking for better holds but there weren't any! Reverse back to a bridging position, then manned up and went for it - wasn't particularly hard but certainly committing. Exciting as it would have been a long fall onto the slab below. A good route, pretty bold really. Easiy worth two stars.

Done via p2 of Black and White to add an extra 5c pitch. Led p1,2,3, Mark led 4,5. Black and White pitch perfectly dry and not 5c in that state but spaced gear. Fairly big fall potential on p3 and p5 if poor RPs (p3 and p5) and (p3) an old blade peg fail.

Lots of rambling to a good, final pitch with a bad hangover.

Date? Omitted final pitch, as it looked poorly protected, and finished up Slow Ledge Climb.
