Rockfax Description
18m. Start as for Sinister Cracks but follow the break that bisects the slab away towards the right arete. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
Spooky slab climbing that is as sandbag as Sinister Rib is soft-touch. Follow Doris to the break, unload all your small cams and continue to the ledge just right. Delicate smearing above this may gain the finish.

Ballsed up the easy mantle and nearly came off with a top rope set-up for Sinister Rip/Blackball - that would have been a swing! After that, the hard moves were easy peasy. Might even lead it next time I'm there. :)

A real test of nerve aswell as smearing ability & flexability. Take a tooth brush to remove the moss, lichen & sand from the holds. Once you've left the ledge don't fall off!

The cams won't help. This is a stiff E1 although the tech grade is correct it feels very "out there".

Needs a bit of traffic to keep the line clean. Ground fall run out.

Very committing and thin, with worrying exposure.
