Nice route, crux pitch was the second rock pitch for me! the ice was all quite easy.

Perfect conditions so felt pretty straight-forward!

Climbed to end of difficulties then abb'ed off. Easy climbing and bucket steps up most of the route.

Gervasutti Pillar start (4 pitches, first two off-route on crest of spur - aid) then 6 pitches of couloir. Thin ice but improving with height. Top 'crux' pitch easy, only ~WI3. Abseil descent. 17 hour day.

Direct start not in condition that year. Skied to bottom of route from Abri Simmond bivi. Climbed to summit and descended normal route in dark back to bivi. A very long day.
