I won the coin toss and lead the odd pitches. Fantastic route. Good scramble at the top and an easy walk out. Awesome!

led even numbered pitch, with pitch 2 (6b) being the hardest, but well protected and fun to climb once figured it out (with a couple of rests to do so). Pitch 4 (6a) also some really nice climbing, with a couple of interesting sections for the grade, especially as long and getting tired by the end of it. Second 6b pitch (pitch 7) more technical than the first one, but felt less brutal (and not just because seconding it). Final pitch (IV+) very easy climbing, but very run out, and main challenge is not to get lost!

Slipped off the slab section at the end of the first 6a pitch. First 6b pitch was amazing

Excellent, favourite route of the trip. The vultures flew right beside us a couple times which was pretty awesome.

Beautiful climb the whole way through. Led the uneven pitches. Couple of falls on the first 6b. Led the 2nd 6b pitch clean, one of my favourite pitches I've done...then managed to slip on the 5+ straight after...

Lovely! Led pitches 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 10. Doing it as a three and seconding with a very heavy rucksack added some faff. Tom's first proper multipitch.

Phenomenal route. The first 6b pitch felt hard, but the rest was glorious. Second 6b is some of the best climbing I've ever done, difficult but everything clicked into place perfectly. Mega day out, and Tiff's first multi pitch!

Best easy multipitch i've done so far in el chorro. Climbed the 9 pitches as 6.

Bailed off top of pitch 5 once the epic thunder and lightning storm from hell broke loose...hail stones as big as ur head! Epic and glad to be alive!

Can be done in 5 pitches with a 70m rope (just!). Impossible to hear the leader at the belay before the upper 6b pitch. Hence I semi-aided this pitch on second, didn't know if I was simul-climbing.

Once the loose rock on the lower three and upper three pitches have gone it will be worth three stars. It is sustained 6a between the two 6b pitches. I really enjoyed the second 6b pitch - puzzling but never too pumpy. I'd recommend doing all the pitches individually if this is close to your maximum grade, or you may end up pulling on the draws. You can abseil, but the walk off over the top of Frontales and down the Arab Steps is excellent. I led p1&2 (together), 5, 7, 9, & 10.

RD P1 and 2 together (rested on rope as could not initially work out the sequence to get over the roof), then the even pitches and pitch 9. Great day out, and buzzards below us.

mariannekhoo 26/Feb/15 AltLd dog

Led P1 and P2 together, P4, P6, P8 and P9 together (a terrible mistake as the rope drag is horrendous). Fell on P2 trying to work out the crux sequence (but felt vindicated when everyone else came off at that point too). Fell while halfway up P7 - trying to make a high step while carrying a rucksack and 2 pairs of shoes didn't quite work out.

Amazing route, 10 pitches and a great scramble off along the ridge. Both crux pitches are well bolted with fantastic climbing. Even the easy pitches are good.
