Rockfax Description
A fine mini-adventure that requires competence from both leader and second. A chance to sample the ambience of Astral Stroll at a lesser level of difficulty. Start by abseiling 5m down a crack in a corner to a foothold stance next to an undercut slab on the right. Move onto the slab and make a difficult move up and out right onto the next slab, crux. Traverse right and then move under an overhang and across a bottomless corner to another slab. Move rightwards up the slab to the edge of the chasm. Climb the arete and left-slanting groove to the top. © Rockfax

Quite a demanding first move - then very enjoyable. A suggestion we did not try ourselves but could be useful was to place a quick draw on half the the abseil rope to protect the first move!

What a great route. Ellie lead, Tim and I followed. Watch out for rope drag.

Nice route but short and pretty easy, hardest bit is at the start climbing on to the overlap, then steady after. nice situation with the waves crashing below. we tried to go for Astrall Stroll but the surf was too big.

Awesome climb with the sea crashing just beneath us. Bit of a soft touch at VS 4c. I'd have said HS 4b would be a more accurate reflection.

Great climbing with plenty of gear. The crux isnt too hard and after that its nice easy climbing in amazing positions. A real adventure!

Bit of a rope drag palava for Luke, despite not placing that much gear. Other than the rock-over crux move, easy climbing in a great location.

Not too sure about the soft touch comments, didn't want to leave the first slab for a while but a great little adventure all the way!

Hanging belay above rough sea was great. One 4c move and the rest easier but well-positioned climbing. It doesnt start and finish at the same place.
