Pokey finish, really good climb

Third go. Tried the flash and soon came to realized that the sloping holds are not my specialty. Good though though!

Harry Chaplin 11/Jun Lead dnf

Had a few goes dodging showers but lacked the energy for the top. Didn't think the climbing lived up to the logbook hype but maybe that's because I din't get the tick...?

Rob Greenwood - UKClimbing 14/May Lead RP

Got to be one of the best of it's grade in the Peak, such a good feature with some really unlikely climbing.

James Oswald 10/May Lead dnf

Really good. Managed to link up to the massive span across the roof.

Rob Greenwood - UKClimbing 23/Apr Lead dog

This route contains two of the most satisfying moves in the Peak: the first being the span out to the jug in the centre of the arch and the second being the move to the finishing jug

Worked out a sequence for the moves but ran out of light. One to go back for.

DaveFidler 13/Sep/16 Lead dog

Was quite wet when I arrived. sorted a sequence for the lower wall pretty happily. Top section first go once the holds had dried a bit. One more session when it's dry?

CLASS, well worth the walk and coming back to after falling off the last move on my first session, first red point today, soft though?

5th proper session. 3 weeks aeropow endurance training seemed to make a big difference :) Amazing route.

Could have flashed with he right beta for the end. Second go instead. Surprisingly pumpy for a fairly short route. Quality nonetheless

stp 24/Aug/15 Lead dnf

Wind and rain started almost as soon as I got on it so bolt to bolted to get the clips out. Didn't get to try the crux section.

new sequence from steve for the tough move getting the undercuts, much more flowing. Top crux feels okay though Steve found a different sequence using a gaston and drop knee on right wall, will try next time

All moves done however the crux took some work. Not a wasted move, perfect rock in a beautiful setting. Long throw at the end has heartbreaker written all over it

First session just working the moves. Got a good sequence sorted for the lower wall up to painful pocket. Above that needs more work.

Classic! Had one session on it the past two summers, felt much better this time. Didn't stop me from falling off the last move first go!

Spent time on this in the mid 90's. Tried it once last year and again on 27th. Helps to extend the bolt below the roof. Fantastic feature and perfect rock. Shamefully omitted from the Northern Rockfax guide.
