1) 6b+, 24m. From the left rib of the cave climb steeply, passing deep pockets, then trend left to a belay in a hollow. 2) 6b, 20m. Head up the bulging rib on the right to a break and then trend right more easily to a lower-off/belay. © Rockfax

βeta: All I’d say is that anyone climbing 6b+ should not go anywhere near this route, no hang on, maybe that’s as relevant for anyone climbing 6c+, cos this monster is more like 7a+! Ok, it’s surely a superb sports climbing creation; very sustained thru the middle powerful sequence of pocket pulls or throws, undercuts, and tricky smears. And then it rounds out with the ultimate satisfying entice: a desperately thin and unsettling series of sketch feet and razor thin crimps. Lovely. What more could you ask for, except for the correct grade and some significantly better bolting… | ||
