More exciting than the main branch. The chockstone banks out leaving a steep section just as you enter the branch.

michaelb1 31 Mar Solo The gully is currently full of good neve, making for a nice climb in fantastic rock scenery. However the cornice is large and slumped, and was avoided by a short steep corner on the left. Pulled over it onto good placements with some relief.

skinne 28 Dec, 2018 AltLd O/S Luckily, this was in good nick, despite the recent thaw. Martyn's first mixed route, he got to lead the pitch around the corner to below some water ice in the main gully. I had a thorough hunt under the chockstone, looking for a way through, to no avail; it's already pretty comprehensively snowed over. Stepping left to go up the outside was fun though.

timday 28 Jan, 2018 Solo rpt Goldilocks snow conditions all the way up; no trace of any previous ascents. Over all too quickly! Interesting exit crawling between the "jaws" of a old slumped cornice and the current one. Too nasty on plateau to bother with summit... got back to the car park just as the rain came on.

LogieNick 24 Dec, 2014 Solo Stable snowpack although recent debris at entrance, firm consolidated snow all the way to the split. LH Branch beginning to accumulate new slab deposits towards the top, but only 2-3 inches deep allowing decent axe/crampon placements... However daunting cornice made the exit (to right side) interesting. Gained the plateaux in "Scottish" conditions!
