Rockfax Description
A fairly fierce but well-protected crack-climb. Start just to the right of a deep chimney/crack.
Climb the crack via some awkward moves to an overhang. Make some hard pulls over the overhang and get established in the continuation crack. Climb to a short corner-crack on the right and finish up this. © Rockfax

found the bottom niche difficult to read. but footholds around if you don't get tunnel vision. The top ohang is actually quite fun..not scary as holds arrive

Didn't think I was going to get it clean. Some really awkward moves up to the very comfortable ledge below the overhang, where I took plenty of time to motivate myself for the intimidating roof. A big block above the overhang is loose, a worrying thing to discover when pulling on it with both hands. Awesome climb!

At least one substantial loose block near the top section, after the overhang: be careful about pulling too hard on anything.

Partner bailed at the roof so I went up and finished it. Stiff moves over the roof but some solid jamming. Some loose rocks near the top, be careful!

Alt lead due to big sea and then worrying about ropes in the crack. Probably be a lovely route in a oner as it was 1st belay not in great place and big sea not helping so dogged most of the way! Overlap was actually ok laybacking then jamming, getting into the niche below I didn't like! One to come back to in calm sea!

A lot better than it looks. Great moves over the roof Solid jams above. Classic Cornish granite climbing

good name, good route, more awkward than it looks lower down, but crux is more amenable than it looks!
