F7b. Most of the gear is usually pre-placed and most will want to lower off from the in-situ station below the top.
Note the line shown in the OTM guide as Jim's Gym'll Fix It is actually the route Hey Mister but confusingly this is not included in the guide but the name is erroneously given to the route Mr Friendly (Hey Mister) which is on the oposite side of the corner. βeta: I cleaned and climbed the line back in 1992. Nadim Siddiqui cheekly named the route (although he couldn't climb it!). His chosen name was Gym'll Fix It (ie not Jim's...). Another route where Nadim insisted I placed the pegs where I could certainly have managed on cams. Sid just wanted the controversy and loved telling people it was the best clip up on grit. | βeta? | |
