Jon Ellis 25 Aug, 2017 AltLd dnf Ambitious plan B following a retreat from Lenzspitze NNE. Slow due to extension, lack of acclimatization and icy sections under a fresh covering snow from night before. Decided to retreat ~100m from the summit as we were both shattered and the summit rock ice sections were a step too far. great day out in the mountains regardless but a torturous trek down to the valley!!

s.tietz 8 Aug, 2016 AltLd Wonderful route! Got up early enough to still see stars. Wonderfull sunrise over the mountains. Summit block had some very nice ice slabs, which were a bit sketchy on the decent (so we stuck with rock for a bit longer). Heather lead on way up, 3:15h. (3:15h up from Hannig to Mischabel Hut the afternoon before) I lead way down, 2:15h. (plus 2:00h back down to Hannig.)

jonesieboy ?Jul, 2010 - Straightforward ascent - it's a long slog back down to Saas Fee though (even if you use the gondola for the last 500m!) At the start, stay on the ridge until after the water tower. Guidebook says to leave after 250m, but the path is much higher now.
