βeta: Abseiling off the tree at the top is impossible, it is rotten and only ~4 inches thick. The old in-situ tat at the top came away in my hands and has been removed. The route can be accessed by one long 45m abseil from the main clifftop. Near the cliff edge by the fence is a large 1.5m crater. Just to the left of this crater as you look out is another tree with two trunks. Abseil off these, through the ivy and down past a blank white face to a ledge. Just off this ledge to your right is the line of the route, the two mid-height pegs should be visible. Hard but not impossible to access from the ground. Scrambling through lots of brambles etc. | βeta? | |
