This fun via ferrata gives some good climbing and three exposed wire sections on the Pillars and gullys of Frontales above Albercones. The cable sections are all straightforward but the zipwire and two bridges will test those not used to exposure.
Gear - The usual lanyards are required. The zipwire really needs a pulley such as the Petzl Tandem Pulley. With this piece of kit it provides an exhilarating swing across the first big gully. If you do it on a steel karabiner instead then you will have to haul yourself over which is strenuous. Gloves are advised especially if you use a karabiner for the pulley zipwire.

βeta: FAILED BOLT / BLOCK - A block containing the main bolt on one of the cables at the start of the postman’s walk near the top has failed today. It is still passable with care. Currently the bolt and block it is attached to is hanging against another cable.

βeta: Start section cut off, but passable with some gear, (slings or small rope advised) It is currently closed due to a large rockfall and some areas within the first 50 metres are without rungs, but it can still be climbed with some knowledge. A great experience! Take loads of water and go in in the morning when it is not too sunny, the VF is in shade early.

jimmysdead 14 Apr - Nice VF with decent gear. The zipwire is especially fun, definitely worth using a proper pulley.
