Rockfax Description
A great variation which links Clonus and Phoenix.
1) 6a, 30m. Follow Clonus to the downward-pointing flakes. Step left and climb diagonally up left to join Phoenix.
2) 5a, 12m. As for Phoenix. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
Climbs the next big groove R of Phoenix and joins Phoenix after its traverse R. All the best climbing is on Phoenix or Clonus. The short linking section is steep & juggy but blocky (in a detached sort of way).

Ticklists: North Wales Rock Graded List, Ultimate E4 ticklist.

One of the 50kg downward pointing spikes came away when i brushed against it, luckily missed the ropes. Finished the route rather shaken

First trad route for months. Great, burly pocket climbing to start. Lowered off where it meets phoenix because of mega winds and an impending turtle head.
