Probably a common line taken by people attempting Kirkus's route using the line on the photo topo in North Wales Classics. P1+2 as for that route. P3. Trend up and left keeping left of overlaps then traverse right to the belay of Kirkus's route P3 when you spot it. P4. Traverse back left again and pass the downward pointing overlap as for Central Variant (crux). At this point Central Variant continues up the groove; instead escape boldly up the face trending leftwards to reach easy ground on the left skyline. P5. Finish up the ridge as for Outside Edge route, resolving to come back and finish Kirkus's route another day with a better description.
