This route takes on the obvious direct line up the headwall. The line is well protected but gear is tricky to place on lead. Start as for Mardon's Hard 'Un but immediately move out and right through a series of good holds. Continue to the void left by the recent missing block. This is where the real fun begins. Move up and slightly right and then straight up with a series of big moves on mostly good holds. A lovely smooth choss-free top-out awaits.
