Started up Cresta Direct, then traversed onto upper pitches of this to give a fine alpine outing on good ice.

An excellent route, really fat ice (not icy mixed) and continuous climbing throughout the 5 pitches. A much more sustained line than its neighbours and approaching tech 4 on a couple of sections.

Ewan led almost all of it.

An atmospheric and under-rated route. Felt more like V,5 - the second ice pitch had no good gear on it and the third was very steep.

Superb, did some variations to pick out the best ice. Seemed hard for technical 3. Agree with Simon D below.

Good ice, steep in places.

took the direct start to the right of the true start to Moonwalk - 10m vertical bulge. Then moved up through ledge system on best ice available, def pitches of V, 5! Don't know how this got graded IV/3? Great route - took 7 hours, 7 pitches, 300m.
