18m. An old Trad. route, the main feature of which is a stepped groove marked by shotholes in the centre of the face. The climb had four staples added to the lower/mid section during the outdoor activity centre era; the top one was subsequently cut. It is now a mixed gear climb, requiring a set of wires and some small/med. friends. The 'historic (and recommended) start is below and just to left of the groove system, utilising a large wire in a shothole at 3 to 4m up. It can also be approached from the start of Black Spring, using the first staple. After exiting the groove system, make a rising traverse rightwards to reach the cleared top-out.
