A fine route up the south east arete. 230 m, 10 or so pitches. Graded V - only one 4c move, but most of the other pitches contain a sprinkling of 4a/4b and interest is maintain throughout

Sling/tat removed from crux move on the second pitch, but there are three in situ pegs just bellow the move. 9/10 pitches of reasonable climbing with a few nice short moves. I can't help but think there are better routes here (i hope so !)

Quite chossy. Belays are all good and it would be ok to reverse the route. Fixed gear on the crux is good if you need to pull on it. Rock improves after the abseil off the pinnacle. Very scenic summit experience!

Caught by a thunderstorm halfway up and battered by massive hailstones - escaped after pitch 5

Very cold day - odd snow flurry. Alice lead the first pitch (IV+) and a III traverse. Took over 8 hours in all, but worthwhile and almost managed to stay on-route throughout
