Reason: Nesting Birds
Last Butt One Level:
Choughs are now in the broken area to the left of Uluru Magic and right of Rejoice. There is no restriction on climbing at present but please avoid this area and keep noise to a minimum. Due to an increase in roosting birds, please avoid climbing during dusk (1hour before sunset).
Level 3:
A new pair of choughs are nesting on the left-hand side of this level. Please avoid all routes to the left of Cubism Groove
30m.
The best route on this level taking the full height of the wall, with interesting climbing on the lower arête. Step off the top of the perched blocks and follow the cracked arête to an easier slabby section halfway up. At the top of the slab climb the steep headwall and exit left into the groove with the lower-off up to the right.

βeta: The lower wall makes a good pitch to the lower off of the route to the left. The upper wall is best avoided as it's badly bolted at the crux, which is on a short section of steep rock after a scramble that is out of place on this route which needs a 70 metre rope to do comfortably. | βeta? | |
