alex.serban 6 Aug, 2016 2nd O/S climbed from Monte Rosa hut on fresh snow. Clear sky but cold and very windy. Left 3am - top 11am. Returned by the same route. Ridge a bit harder than expected, a few tricky sections but good grips in general. No gear placed or belay. Fixed ropes were removed! I'd rate it as an AD-.

caradoc 15 Jul, 2013 - We left the hut at 2.30a.m, summit at 8.30a.m. Very cold at around 4a.m but warmed up when we reached the sun on the ridge above the Sattel. The ridge was a mixture of narrow snow aretes(no belays) and awkward scrambling on good rock. It was deceptively long and exposed. We flicked the rope around spikes for belays having no rock gear and anxious to get a move on. There was nothing in the way of old pegs or slings so it felt quite 'pure' which was good. Much harder overall than Mont Blanc or Dom.
