HARD, Felt more 7b to me, that said cool moves high up which is rather spicy all the way to belay ...Initial face climbing feels quite sustained and tougher than expected !

Fell off on the Onsight on the final few moves. But Guys beta trending right slightly is much more manageable so got second go. Fantastic under travelled route. In much better condition now.

We did a bit of cleaning, stripped a load of ivy at the top by the belay and cleared a load of grass and earth so it is easier to get to the half height ledge. Brilliant climbing up the top half. I found a good sequence which goes up slightly right past the top bolt 7a+ is the right grade.

Looks like this hasn't seen any attention for quite some time. Climbed the first half, clearing mud and cobwebs, but couldn't breach the overgrown grassy ledge at half height.

Not sure if this has been climbed for a while? Few things that could be improved with the route - firstly, going onto the first terrace - the next bolt up is very rusted! This zaps all confidence in it - not what sports climbing is about. Also, very close to the line on the right... Having sadi that - a lovely intricate lower wall - powerful upper wall with some great bouldery moves towards the top - lower side pulls with both hands and high heel to rock up to a pinch and enter the pocketed crackline...needs more people to get on it!

Went up the right hand side of the arete, using index finger locks in the final crack (ouch!). Found it much harder than Fr7a+, but there is an alternative finish up the less steep left hand side of the arete, which is easier(?).
