Jules Lane 13 Jul Lead O/S Led all pitches. Nice route on good rock with a few grassy ledges. Oppenheimer's chimney is great; very steep for 4b but great holds and good gear.

Ratfeeder 24 May Lead O/S Cold and windy. Lamb's Chimney unprotected for first 30ft. but nice climbing - the best pitch IMO. Oppenheimer's Chimney steep and pretty strenuous!

iainJ 25 Aug, 2018 Lead O/S Lead all pitches, as a three, first mp for Will. Alright route, exposed in places. Benighted on descent - would recommend leaving the car before 11.

sea_lene 8 May, 2016 AltLd Made more exciting by minor detour traversing far left from le coin, then up, then back right to end under the 'impending crack'. Description in (new) guide not helpful or my bad route finding? Couldn't see a 'nose'!

JonLongshanks 19 Mar, 2016 AltLd O/S Didn't see anyone for the whole 3 nights! Big atmosphere on Pillar - cold, big, remote, north-facing crag. On descents patches of hard snow left which we had to cross on a rope and using a nut-key. Only led pitch 1 on this terrific route. Got extremely cold in the wind and couldn't climb well with numb hands... Final small overhang on the final pitch and the very top quite fun (?!). We found it hard to believe all the way up that this route was first climbed in 1906.... mind-boggling.
