Tommy Harris 21 Jan AltLd O/S Climbed top right pitch, was very thin and wet, was a technical battle to get up it with only using 3 screws for the entire pitch, would say a tough 5+ today compared to the other routes in the area.

Andre Clarke 21 Jan AltLd rpt Very wet when we did this. Tommy led crux and only got 3 item of gear in. Seemed way harder than last time I did and much more than 4+. Last time solid and hocked out; this time ice unconsolidated / chandellary and very techincal. Weird and running with water a temps were -10C! It was an experience.

Misha 21 Dec, 2013 AltLd O/S A nice route with a great mountain atmosphere once in the upper amphitheatre. Nic led the first bulge on the steeper right hand side, belaying on screws at the foot of a couple of short, steepish pillars. I climbed the pillars, taking care not to knock them down - they were a bit thin. Thankfully it wasn't too steep. Nic led the next bulge, which was nice and fat and took us onto the uppers now basin. I did the following pitch, which was mostly waking with a couple of short easy steps. After that, some more walking and a trudge up a snow slope (crux) to the base of the final pitch. Nic did a good lead on funky and at times worrying ice, with a cold shower thrown in for good measure! The line we took was more of a 4 than a 4+ as the steeper (and drier!) section to the right was looking a bit thin. Abbed down the top pitch, then walked off.
