330m, 5 pitches. Start left of the tower and go towards the crest. . Aim towards the rippled slabs near the top of the crest. Finish as for jagged crest. Belays are not well defined.

An interesting route, with very little gear, like many of the routes at this crag. The transition from the friable slab up the quartz traverse and onto the gritstone wss perfectly timed for the arrival of the rain!

Followed Emlyn up first pitch in heavy winds and mountain boots. Bad combo! Felt very serious - all loose flaky and vegetated. Impressive lead by emlyn with 40m of unprotected climbing. We bailed off due to not looking forward to being stuck on the middle of a wet slab with no gear. Interesting route finding and a good epic feel to it!

Climbed first pitch, moved left and decended the grass and heather. Very windy, worried it could rain, did not want to there in the wet. Very run out, sling at 5m then a cam at 45m. Belay not great either.

The route is as you find it, not follow the guide book! Brilliant day.

Led pitches 2, 4, 6. Epic route, 200ft longer than the guidebook, not more than one good bit of gear per pitch, all of which were 60m, poor belays, loose rock, and lots of vegetation. What a day!

Route followed ribs of dry rock through ribbons of ice in the grooves and gullies to either side.

Mostly soloed. Part of 3000 ft of scrambling/climbing in a morning (followed by lunch in Pete's Eats & Phantom Rib). Wish I was half that fit now!
