7m. A good, sustained right to left traverse starting bridged by the right arete. Hands stay in and around the mid height breaks and footholds are often-hidden. On reaching the left arete either finish up to the top as for Bow Wave or work the right hand on to the good hold on the left arete and finish up the tiny facet left of the arete (probably a little harder but more in keeping with the traversing nature of the problem).
A harder variant, Strictly Stern to Stem, uses only the holds that are fully in (but not those around) the mid height break and, in the centre section, where the break splits, uses only the poorer holds in the lower branch of the break. It gives a good sequence that is harder than the original but I am not sure if the difference is enough to warrant a higher grade?
