Halkyn Mountain...not a mountain, just a hill...lots of interesting mine shafts and ancient mine workings dotted around all over it! See the Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust (http://www.cpat.org.uk) for plenty of historical & geological information about the area.
The bouldering lies just off the Halkyn-Rhes Y Cae road, in a sheltered dip. Some of the obvious problems have almost certainly been done before, im happy to update first ascent details if needed, but thought it was worth recording them all. Mostly just a few problems of local (lockdown) interest! A bit scrappy, eliminate and mostly very short, although a couple are quite good! Worth an hour or so in a nice location with perfect grassy landings. Some problems could be done without a pad.
Plenty of places to pull over around the playground in Rhes Y Cae, or the road between Rhes Y Cae and Halkyn.
