101m, 5 pitches.

Rockfax Description
A satisfying, long route with good rock and positions. Start by scrambling up from Rake's Progress to a belay left of a short corner.
1) 22m. Climb the short corner and then work up a slab slightly right to easier ground and continue to a ledge and block belay.
2) 22m. Head up left and then back up right, past perched blocks, to a corner. Take the corner to a ledge and belay.
3) 9m. Traverse left on a foot ledge to a stance and belay.
4) 22m. The corners and slab to a belay on the crest of the buttress at a big block.
5) 50m. Make a steep pull up onto a ledge above the belay block and then follow the ridge to easy ground and a scramble to the top of Pisgah. © Rockfax

βeta: Take care; potential for loose blocks depending on how/where you finish the final pitch. We dislodged a torso size one which fell to the valley.

JoeCoxson 17 Sep, 2017 AltLd Last route of our classic link up, lead in three pitches, topped out as the sun was setting, and got soaked running back down to Wasdale Head; proper fun. Only when Jonny looked up the climb next morning, did we realise that Moss Gill Gully was the other classic rock tick on the mountain, not this. Still can't beat 3 classic mountain routes on a link up between the Napes and Scafell buttress.

Karlos 23 May, 2015 Lead O/S Climbed on a dry day but after a day of heavy rain. Not sure took correctly line on P1, very wet and uninspiring. P2 was on proper rock and good holds, gaining comfortable platform with wonderful view. Traverse of P3 is short lived but highlight of the route. P4 again on good rock and gains belay in lovely exposed position. P5 was wet and exposed, but didn't present a problem. Great long route in amazing setting.

Harriet Stewart 23 May, 2015 2nd Amazing views, great exposure but challenging for the grade, cold (in the shade all day) and wet! Every pitch had at least one tough move with some long reaches and steps- getting onto the traverse was definitely the crux. More enjoyable retrospectively!

steve_hoey 24 Jul, 2010 Solo O/S It started drizzling half way up. Interesting 101m solo...Don't tell my missus or insurers!.. a big hold came off in my hand at about 50m too. Scary. Good buzz topping out, even if it was raining hard by then.
