UKC

13m. 8b/R1+. One of the most famous and hardest crack climbs in Orco and Europe.

Partly climbed by R. Perucca using green coloured bolts (hence the name) in the 80s and originally graded 8b+. Didier Berthod removed the 5 bolts and made the first ascent in 2003 with gear preplaced and repeated it a year later placing the gear on lead.

Flashed by 'grandad' Stevie Haston, who commented "like a 5.12 crack to a V8 move, a bit on the powerful side, but nothing really that tricky. In English if you like, bottom end E6 crack to a 6c sequence"

Didier Berthod Sep/2003.
