The rock varies in character from typically quarried on the lower tier through to more abrasive rock on the upper tier where blasting has uncovered large tracts of calcite-encrusted rock which almost feels like natural limestone. As with most quarries, extra vigilance needs to be exercised by both climber and belayer here given the blasting activity which has created potential for loose rock.

Don't swim in the bright blue toxic pool (as if you needed telling)!

βeta: Tricky start and spooky section just below the second to last bolt with committing powerful moves. That make it a 6a+/6b imho. Also some very questionable bits of rock, be careful what you pull or stand on.

βeta: Im much in agreement with 'sheffieldchris'; with all the rich broadening of the sports route universe and the general improvement in bolting, how can this rank as anything other than 'bargain basement'? We finished direct ('Insincerity'?), which is also pretty pointless, spooky, and a long way off the stated grade.

βeta: time to be honest people, have lead a hundred+ 6a's. This is not 6a not ever. perhaps if you are leading high 6.s or 7's then this is a lovely route. For the rest of us operating in the 6a+ to 6b range this route can best be described as dog s--t.
