Rob Greenwood - UKClimbing 7 Jul, 2018 Lead O/S Great route up a stunning line. Can’t begin to imagine what it’d be like in winter?!? Gary Latter’s pitch lengths are wrong for P1, but this may have changed for the second edition. If not, follow the SMC description (P1 = 35m) then link P2+3. Be extremely careful on the ledge, as the levels of looseness are not to be underestimated. There’s an ab point a bit below, just at the top of Scansor.

fuzzysheep01 24 May, 2016 AltLd O/S Climbed in 3 pitches - 5b 50m, 5a 35m, 5a 25m. Both SMC and Latter guides seem to have pitch lengths way off. Tricky with rucksack. Corner is excellent and sustained, with new peg and bulldog in situ at top of pitch 1. Top pitch is also deceptively fun. Superb, striking line.

noskki 24 May, 2016 AltLd O/S I think 5b is justified for the start moving out to the butress on the right and back. I'm not sure where the "low in the grade (5a)" came from. Pitch lengths are quite generously estimated. Fantastic line. Good climb.

Edvenables 28 Sep, 2013 Lead O/S Stupendous! Best route I've led so far. Terrifyingly wet and really quite run out at one point. Lots of tricky gear placements cleaning out cracks filled with wet moss and fiddling in hexes. Led P1 and P2 together. Lovely (dry) climbing on the top pitch. Eleanor was unimpressed after being given both rucksacks to carry.
