A good climb in an amazing setting, although the adventure comes from descending a series of rusty ladders to get to the climb; the route itself is well-bolted and quite steep. 7 bolts to a lower-off.

I enjoyed it. Dry and free of moss but a little green in places Little bits of debris in the back of some of the incuts but that didn't detract much. Big feel, felt high in the grade and a bit sparsely bolted at the top. A summer route I guess? NOTE: turned out later from a diary that I had done it before as a warm up to Porphyry Chair so not actually on sight on this occasion. I remembered the latter distinctly but not this.

Bit grubby in places, though dry. Interesting approach down lots of ladders.

Surprisingly good, big holds. Bit dirty but still climb able. Maybe one star for climbing an an extra star for location

The dirtiest climb I've ever been on. Wet moss and slime on almost every good hold. Didn't seem like it had had any traffic for a good while. A shame, it'd be better for it. 3 stars if it was nice and dry and clean, covered in sludge is another story.

Ace. Essential for any true slate head. Sling on a juggy block(little bit hollow) would reduce run out to the belay bolts.

Great location, nice and peaceful. Not your typical slate climb, green in many places but some great moves further up

Amazing setting deep down in the lost world. The triple ladders down to the climb were scary enough. Lots of midges. Good lead by Paul as the bolts were spaced. Built a fire as the bottom to get ride of the midges which worked

Superb, and the approach certainly adds to the adventure. Has been rebolted very recently but the old bolts have (strangely) not been chopped so make sure you clip the right ones! Been bolted like fro like so the spicy runouts are preserved. It may appear dirty, but it doesn't really seem to affect the climbing much and the approach ladders don't seem as bad as I expected.
