Rockfax Description
An oddity - a classic red spot in this crucible of soaring grades. The start is a bit crusty but things improve a lot with height. Quite soft for the grade though it keeps on coming. © Rockfax

The only route in the sun at 9am. Not an easy warm up, accidentally climbed on to the 7c+ and got as far as the hole in the headwall. Lowered back to the ledge and finished correctly. The crux is the first bulge. Above the holds are big with a no hands rest in the cave, still pumpy to the chains

Tough crux low down, then pumpy up to the top - didn't help that the last five metres were dripping in water!

Brilliant route - 3 very different technical sections - stamina needed. Fell on the tufa section but got back on and finished it. Top section very demanding when tired.
