There is a Big fresh looking chip on the lower arete of the route. Didn't feel like E2 6a.

Marl 25/Mar/17 TR

Climbed twice. 1st time sticking totally to left of arete which felt like E1 6a. 2nd time following line in rockfax which was much easier probably 5b

Poorly protected (micros) and reachy, but definitely not an E2, probably nearer an easy HVS. The topo in Rockfax (2006) shows the "broken hold".

Definitely something not right here. Feels about hvs or possibly even vs. there's a scar on the wall where a hold has broken. I'd love to take it as an easy tick but that's ridiculous.

good climbing. It looks like a really good hold has recently 'appeared' on the arete

Phill Mitch 23/Jun/10 Lead O/S

I was expecting the crux on the top arete, disapointing and probably only VS or even less since the sloper broke off and created a jug.

Thos ones only really boulder problem. I treated it as such, with a mat to look after me. The hard moves are all fairly close to the ground. There is a big jug low down that looks like the result of a recent breakage. So I ignored that and didn't use it. Awesome problem.
