Sounder than it looks, well protected and a worthy companion to Acheron. The twin pegs (one new 2014) can be backed up with cams. Climb past them to gain the groove and follow this to a spike runner. Hand traverse R to another spike runner on the arete. Climb the slab to gain a slanting crack which has a hard move at its end. Bear R to a bolt belay and lower off

Quite tough. Would make a scary lead

Got to last years high point, loaded half my rack in and went for glory. Hard sequence of moves, failed and fell. Got to the top of the final wall, belay in sight so at least some progress.

Good route, gutted to run out of daylight 10 ft from the belay. Really enjoyed groove and blind reach right for the base of the slab. Will have to return and complete to retrieve the retreat gear.

Varied and satisfying route - steep first groove is easier and better protected than it looks and there is plenty of gear before committing to the crux on the upper slab.
