350m, 12 pitches. Start from the lowest point of the pillar and climb two pitches over slabs and bulges to a belay beneath a steep sloping ramp leading up to the right. The ramp pitch is far harder than anything else on the route and gives access to superb pitches above, climbing flakes, slabs and a roof pitch, to easier but brilliant top slabs. Traverse the airy ridge to the first major couloir on the right which gives 2 abseils to the boulder fields and the descent to the base of the pillar.

Thought we'd set off Schildkrotte, idiots. The ramp pitch felt hard and the descent was gripping.

its a great climb, its got everything (although we did have epic): I rested on the 2nd pitch crux!. On the 9th pitch (Andrew went off route: up a chimney instead a traverse), I followed(2nd) took out the last friend. At the top of chimney and a rock the size of body pinned my leg to the wall. I managed to knock it off without any damage (only physiological) . Carried on climbing up the 10th pitch, it started to rain. Then the last-two-pitches (a slab) and we only saw two bolts!!
