Me in Clarach Bay - Left hand sport route © james.slater

Crag features

A mixture of sports routes and bouldering. The four main sports routes are not for the faint of heart. Clarach North boulders and the Sunset Slab area can only be reached at low tide (of 1.6m or less) and the approach from the Main Cliff also requires calm seas.

Approach notes

Main Cliff is easily reached along the beach in less than 5 minutes from Glan y Môr Leisure Park. There is a rough car park overlooking the beach.

3 quickdraws removed from Reign of Piece today... happy to return them to owner, but please think about corrosion of bolts on sea cliffs before leaving gear behind. Feel free to make a donation to the North Wales bolt fund when you come to get them back!

Use it as your gym. It has quite nice routes. Be careful some pieces of rock can come out.

Dont sport climb here unless its re-eqiped. the bolts are ancient, so with sea to rust them they're dangerous as hell
