Had a good evening there bone dry, did Orangutan (care needed at the top) and VS next to it, both good routes Also Adam lead Gorilla hard for E1 but very good first pitch with a bold top pitch that I back off. Majority of Salamander has had an extensive cleaning. The initial wall under the overhang needs a bit of brushing but apart from that its ready to be climed again. Just needs a bit more traffic to keep it in good nick. Kaiser999 - 04/Aug/08
The area around orangutan and green slab have been given a good cleaning. The top has been cleaned right back making toping out and belaying a lot easier. There are some really good routes here and a more thorough clean is planned to bring it back to its former glory. Kaiser999 - 16/May/08
Found the quarry well overgrown and no signs that anyone has climbed there since the guidebook was written.Take gardening eqipment if you intend to climb! Paul Glover - 19/Jul/02
