Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.
At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.
We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

This crag is a great place to go to get away from the crowds at Bonehill or just as somewhere different than the usual Dartmoor Hotspots.
It is a widely spread variety of unspoilt Granite boulders with beautiful views as far as Hay Tor.
If your starting out, the Short Walls Sector here is particularly good. After a good long walk in go up to the summit and the climbs start around there. For the Short Walls Sector, keep on going right down to the trees.
From the back of Bonehill Rocks, take the path North upto Bell Tor and continue upto the summit then on down the dip (great view of the Tor from here)and up the other side to come to Honeybag Tor itself (about 20 mins).
For further details visit www.javu.co.uk, the original Dartmoor bouldering source.
|Fantastic spot - beautiful location away from the crowds, great circuits up to V5. See www.javu.co.uk for topos and some pics (and other v useful South West info).|
