Climbing on 3 levels:
> the 1st (popular) just 30s from the car park next to Adventure House; F4a - F7c+. Includes secteurs Air du Temps & Baby. Very varied in nature with great technical interest: slabs, walls and overhangs. Route lengths average 15m
> the 2nd just 25m higher; F5b - F7b+. Secteur Mogane de Toi. Not so varied but well worthwhile. Route lengths average 15m
> the 3rd 200m higher; F5c - F8a. Secteur Petit Ours. The wall of horrors is bramble-bound. The 6's are excellent, steep and sometimes bold. Route lenths average 20m
Guidebook: Escalade dans les Pyrenees Centrales, no longer published.
The crag is next to and on the W side of the D126, and visible from that road. Upper tiers attained by a scramble, starting from RHS; some rope-way protection.
Year round climbing; no access problems
Not the best crag by any stretch of the imagination but worth going to if you're passing by blaza1 - 13/Apr/19 |
