July 2021: I am getting out regularly onto Pyrenees crags, french side - pleased to meet up with others. Grades have slipped a little but still projecting routes close to 7a.Location

Best Climbing Experience
Before leaving the UK in 2002, I favored cragging in N Wales pushing the grades on Dinas Gromlech; Cenotaph Corner, Left Wall and finally Memory Lane. Apart from which, a few other scattered E3s. I still miss that region but I'm finding local favorites here: the granite of Cavallers, and Neouvielle.
Best experiences are usually the most recent - keep your escapism current!

Climbing harder; what's the point? there's always another grade above and the human condition is never to be satisfied. But yes, I'd like to onsight 7a more frequently :-)
