An old limestone quarry close to the famous Bolton Abbey railway station - enjoy the age of steam while you climb. The recorded climbs are on a natural face high above the main quarry.
In a disused quarry, perhaps not on access land. Park on the road, follow the footpath near the viaduct marked on the OS map. After the bridge over the disused bit of the railway line skirt round to the quarry over fields.
