Clegyrau Graig Isaf is a collective name for a number of small crags up to 10m height dotted around on the lower NW facing slope of Moelblithycwm in Cwm Nantcol.
This area is not featured in the current guide (Meirionnydd 2002) but will be definitively covered in the new Welsh Grit guide which is currently in development. There are no medium grade climbs here; most are bold, serious and mainly unprotectable single-pitch climbs, principally E1 to E4. Falling off is not really an option here.
Further details to follow ...
The crags are on access land but the approach to them is across private enclosed land with no public RoW for which explicit permission must always be sought from the landowner at Graig Isaf farm. The landowner has clearly indicated that large groups will not be permitted to access the crags. Dogs must be leashed at all times and all gates must be shut.
Note to you lot: Clarendon is E3 5c ** (onsight 2nd ascent Fiend, cool wee highball), Word Of Pain is probably *, Dark Orgasm **. Fiend - 08/May/17 |

Note to moderator ;) The Clarendon and Rock Bottom are on a buttress further left that for now could be called Stanners Wall and the other 4 routes could be Monolith Area. The Pylon King - 08/Oct/14 |
