Park in layby shortly after a house called Rhuveag (which is after Creagruie), at the western end of coille bheag wood is a gate, go through the gate and follow the wall up the wooded hillside until you reach a fence follow this to the right then up hill again for a short distance, go over the fence here and countnue uphill skirting left, the crag will come into view.
Found this a bit of a filth-fest at the end of a dry April week. Incuts full of mud and stubborn moss and lichen on the slopers. Looked possible to clean as you go if you had a decent brush. My chalk brush wouldnt touch it.
Shame as there is a really good crag underneath..
Belay boulder in more like 20m back from the crag top. Static rope would have been useful. alan moore - 16/Apr/21 |
