As many say this place is crazy. It is not so much the beauty of the lines, but well their number. Without telling lies, there are 20 lines of ice. All like a handfull of onions hanging from the valley walls between 37 and 70m in length.
The first lines like 'L'impot a d'Vain' are good at 30 min from the road, but it will be necessary to sweat at least two good hours for the last perches 900m above the Échalp. To access this small valley deep and steeped in avalanche risk, you never know if he put on skis, crampons, snowshoes or all three at once!
