Approach notes
From Pandecarmen car park. Walk to refugio Vegarredonda (hut and fountain here). Continue up (South) along the Llampa Cimera path to the junction of paths. Porru Bolu is the limestone tower in front of you. Visible as a free-standing, square tower during most of the approach walk.
Access Advice
Private car access from Covadonga to Lagos de Covadonga is not allowed during the following dates: June to October, Easter and bank holiday weekends during the rest of the year.
To get to the trail head within those periods by privste car, it is necessary to have a reservation at any of the mountain huts, or use public bus service or hire a taxi.
