Crag features
Quite a lot of problems, some of them highball. The nature of the grit isn't the best but some of the problems are decent.
The outlook and setting is magnificent - some of the best of the Yorkshire Dales is laid out like a menu before you.

Approach notes
Park as for Air Scar on the layby before the road drops down to Burnsall. The boulders can be reached from above or even from Rolling Gate but the quickest approach is to follow the path along the wall under Air Scar and only go up when the Numberstones boulders are reached.
No Access Issues
On Access Land but watch out for the usual shooting and moor burning closures.
