Monte Moneta crags © tjekel
Monte Moneta is the second large crag reached from the famous Guido Ristoro in about 15 minutes walk. Mostly easy to medium single pitch routes with good bolting on sectors scattered on the hillside, and some harder and steeper stuff in the central cave. The climbing is mostly fingery and vertical, the views across the sea are superb. While avancorpo di destra tends to fill up during winter weekends, the other sectors offer ample space even in the busiest of times.
Walk behind the Guido Ristoro and bear right up the hillside. The crag is visible from the parking.
A few routes in the central cave are banned due to raptures nesting. Please respect the closure.
All the other routes are open year round and only forbidden by the relentless sun in summer.
